| I checked my bank account after utilities were unexpectedly high only to find an extra $166 dollars from the US government on tax refund AND that my credit allowance has been upped (for no discernable reason) by $500.

So I was
watching the State of the Union last night and, between Jagerbombs and
PBRs, I noticed a very disconcerting aspect of Bush's rhetoric and
policy that seems to be going unnoticed as of yet: the unnerving shift
of focus away from me. As you can see from a simple search,
Bush's mention of my name had been on near steady increase, at 61
mentions last year. This year, there were almost half that number. This
focus shift is simply unacceptable. |
